This was a challenging week to say the least. After the major dissappointment of gaining weight each of the last 2 weeks and not actually loosing weight in 4 weeks, I was determined to loose weight this week. However, with every good plan there comes some challenges that must be overcome. I began to feel like I was coming down with a cold on Saturday, but the full effects hit me on Sunday. So, Sunday through Wednesday, I was not feeling very good to actualy work out, even though I made myself work out on some of those days. Nonetheless, being sick made it harder to eat right and exercise. Then, once I began to feel better, I had the biggest challenge of each month to eat properly, a board meeting at the Capital City Club where I knew I would be tempted with multiple beers and some unhealthy dinner choices such as the Prime Rib Special for Thursdays.
I must admit, I had 3 lite beers, but I coupled that with eating a dinner salad for my meal. It was a little difficult looking at a prime rib, fish and chips, and a shrimp pasta that others in my group were eating, but I survived and thrived. Furthermore, I worked out hard on both Friday evening and Saturday morning and ate sensibly on those days. The results were very good for me.

Fitness Quote of the Week
