Week Ending 1/12/2008

This has been my first full week back on the horse and attempting to actually loose weight after the holidays. I think it was a very successful week as I had worked out quite a bit as well as ate extremely well. The previous weight markers from last year will be disregarded as I begin my new goal of loosing 50lbs by my 40th birthday in December. This will result in me being around the 200 lbs mark and will make me extremely happy.

Last week, I worked out at either the gym or at home nearly everyday and it felt good to do so. I made my first trip to the gym in about a month and worked out very hard.

Tip for the Week
Protect Yourself from Pollution
If you can't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning when air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard. It's a good pollution and dirt from the street deterrent. Thought for the day: 'Smoke gets in your eyes'…and your mouth, and your nose and your lungs as do pollutants….hum the tune daily.
